Long Response

I think Texas has truly turned purple because of the culture of Texas changing into a more diverse state making Texas not as red as it used to be. Also many people are moving into Texas from places like California or Latin America in which most political views of these people are democratic. I think the poll did not include the green party because of the small impact it has on the election and how unlikely it is for Jill to win the presidency. The bigger fight is between Hillary and Trump which was included in the poll. I think the main change is how diversity is changing the demographic and the political views of Texas making the state more democratic. The poll was conducted by the Crosswind Media & Public Relations and Pulse Opinion Research and polled 800 likely Texas voters. I think this poll is accurate because getting the opinions of 800 people will show a trend in the political views of Texas. In the media as well in real life people talk about how close the election this year will be due to the candidates we have to vote for. The biggest concerns with the people polled were the constant coverage of the candidates that changed many peoples minds, the generation gap, and if Texas becomes a democratic state it will never go back. I think that if Texas becomes a democratic state which is a good thing it can still go but can still go back to a red state. The biggest issue I think is the generation gap which is awesome that younger people are changing the opinions they were raised with but the traditions of their parents keep the state red and allowing no change.
