New York, February 17–24, Spring Fashion
"In a stunning cover for New York’s “Spring Fashion” issue, Erik Madigan Heck created a wall-to-wall effect with the red and white floral pattern on Lupita Nyong’o’s Stella McCartney dress and a coordinated background. Nyong’o is no wallflower, seeming to pop right out of this inventive and stylish cover."
I really like this cover because the way it is presented is very neat and creative. I like how there is a color scheme of red, white, and black which allows each color to pop. I like how this is a very bright cover because it is very colorful and fun. I also like how the red and white contrast with the subject but blend with the dress which makes the cover very unique. I also like how it blends because it makes you look closer at the magazine and pulls you in to differentiate from the dress and background. This cover is definitely not something you would just pass by it is something you'd stop and look at.
