My favorite photo of the entire paper is the Speak up, Stand up one on page B8.

What rules of photo composition are evident?
Balance is very evident.
What is your least favorite photo in the entire paper?
My least favorite photo is the science fair photos

If you were a photographer on staff, which event/photo assignment would you have liked to do for this issue? You will need to look through the entire paper and see the topics covered and decide which one you think would have been fun.
I would have liked to do the Women's March because capturing history would be so cool and also i'd be there anyways so it would be convenient.
Overall, how would you rate the photography in this issue? What were the strong points and weak points, write 2-3 sentences.
Overall I think this issue would be a 7 because there were a lot of average photos some really good neat photos and a couple of boring but not bad ones. I think this was overall a balanced issue. Some week points were depth of field in classroom photos and some high points were the women's march and yo-yo photos.

Five of the 13-point Affordability Agenda includes increasing city housing supply, adopting the CodeNext rewrite of city land use ordinances, creating a permitting process to build affordable housing more quickly, supporting workforce training and improving economic incentive policies.
2. How many bugs are available at the UT Insects Unlocked facility? Page B1 "UT project offers close-up look..."
There are more then two million bugs available at the UT Insects Unlocked Facility.
3. Who are the new UT regents? Page B5 "Texas Senate confirms new UT regents"
The new UT regents are Kevin Eltife, Janiece Longoria, and Rad Weaver.
4. What are four things you could eliminate from your life to "de-clutter?" Page SA2 "These items are cluttering your life..."
Four things i could eliminate from my life are old towels, old chargers, receipts, and event tickets.
5. Which of the items presented in the story "Sweet Stuff" page D1 would you want to get (make sure to click to the jump page).
I would want to get the cardamom rose caramels.
Long response
The corps is involved because it manages the Missouri river and the dams that are owned by the federal government. Trumps executive ordered told the corps to reconsider Darcy decision of opposing the crossing. The project overall will cost 3.8 billion dollars. The Standing Rock Sioux are fighting the pipeline because it could pollute their drinking water and flood at the reservation which is located downstream of the pipeline. The next step for the indian tribe is to protest and battle the pipeline. I do not think that the pipeline should be complete because it could ruin many peoples lives and is a safety precaution to the tribe. It also costs a lot of money in which we must pay out of taxes.

Magazines Part II
An Image Based cover is a cover that is based on one subject that relates to the type of magazine that is published. For example the most common form of this cover is one or few people in front of the camera on the cover. An illustration based cover is a cover with an unique illustration. A typed based cover is a cover with different and interesting text. A concept based cover is a hybrid of the other three types of covers. The importance of the balance of words and photos on a cover is to catch the readers eye and to allow the reader to instantly get the concept or main point of the magazine.
My Favorite Cover

New York, February 17–24, Spring Fashion
"In a stunning cover for New York’s “Spring Fashion” issue, Erik Madigan Heck created a wall-to-wall effect with the red and white floral pattern on Lupita Nyong’o’s Stella McCartney dress and a coordinated background. Nyong’o is no wallflower, seeming to pop right out of this inventive and stylish cover."
I really like this cover because the way it is presented is very neat and creative. I like how there is a color scheme of red, white, and black which allows each color to pop. I like how this is a very bright cover because it is very colorful and fun. I also like how the red and white contrast with the subject but blend with the dress which makes the cover very unique. I also like how it blends because it makes you look closer at the magazine and pulls you in to differentiate from the dress and background. This cover is definitely not something you would just pass by it is something you'd stop and look at.

Long Response
Senate Bill 4 is a bill that was passed that basically says that local officials cannot inquire about the immigration status of someone in custody. The purpose of this bill is to have local authorities enforce federal immigration laws. I think the impact of this bill will be shown through all of Texas due to the fact that the state and cities don't want to loose money. I think there will be many protesting this bill due to the fact immigration should be easily allowed in the United States. I think Sanctuary Cities are a good thing because one of the main reasons people come to the U.S. is to start a new life and to work hard towards a better life then the one they had in their own country. I think these cities are a great place to help immigrants start and feel welcomed into the U.S.
