Long Response

The story takes place in West Texas mainly Colorado City. The victory of the story is the win of the football game and the advancement of Irann High School to state semifinals. The tragedy was the car crash the cheerleader's got into and the injuries the conceived with it. I did enjoy this story it was full of  emotion and really made me focus in on the story. What I like that the reader did is really allowed the environment of this story to really surround the reader and engulf them into the lives of the football players, cheerleaders, coaches, etc. I also like how the writer explained the story in chronological order making it easy to follow along. The writer imputed themselves into the story and in the intro did not state what the story was vaguely going to be about. Instead the writer told us about his experience or plans. I think the editors allow them to vary this because it shows how this specific football team at Irann Highschool connects to Austin and The Statesmen.
